The Role of Hypnosis in DID Cure

Hypnosis is the process of mental communication between the patient of DID and the mentor of the patient. In this process it is attempted to trace out the generating cause of the DID, the history and the fear associated with the trauma. As the patient of DID in most of the cases has a prior history of shock and abuse, it is possible to get all the records from the subconscious and unconscious state of mind and to counsel these stages of sense in a trance about the remedy.

The existence of multiple personalities are there in the unconscious and subconscious state of mind and by the intervention of the psychologist the negotiation between the selves as well as the synchronization of the behavioral traits are established and managed from the social point of view. This process of personality integration is called fusing.

Hypnosis is used to manage and control the problem like bulimia (disorder in taking food), self-harming tendency and attempting to self-mutilation. Hypnosis helps to revive the lost and repressed memories of the DID patients and these lost memories work as fine resource for the remedial counseling.

In some opinions, hypnosis itself evokes the problem of multi personality trait in a DID induced person. Followers of this cult never use the process of hypnosis in curing method of DID.
