The children and other persons with Dissociated identity Disorder certainly may excel in their educational career and respective field, if handled with care and with the guidelines of a special educator with methodical intervention. Primarily, the affected children require some kind of modification in their class room structure and lay out, which is as per the mood swing. The main reason of this change is the normal tendency of behavioral problem or the problem of disruptive behavior. The special modification in their classroom modification and curriculum modification can bring positive impact on these children even the change keeps the adolescent children lo in a happy mood.
The staffs and the helping teachers should have good scale of perseverance and a good analytical mind. They need to be alert because any time the mood swing factor may recur and the whole process of learning may suffer. As most of the child of DID syndrome have touch phobia, it is better not to touch them to console rather to use some positive signal to convey the message of understanding and positively communicating him/her in his/her mental distress. The child has o realize the norms of social communications and in this respect he requires proper intervention to build a positive mentality to act according to general code of conduct, otherwise temporarily all his favorites may be withdrawn from her.
